Jennifer Hudson Is A Size Zero (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 08/05/11 06:54 PM ET   Updated: 10/05/11 06:12 AM ET

Most women wouldn't want their dress size revealed on television, but that didn't stop "The View" co-host Joy Behar from announcing that actress Jennifer Hudson wears a size zero.

Behar said that on a recent shopping trip she ran in to the Oscar-winning actress and overheard the salesperson say Hudson wore a size zero.

Behar asked Hudson how it felt to have shrunk to such a small size and said Hudson told her, "I feel like they’re talking to someone else.”

Hudson, who once wore a size 16, has been a spokesperson for Weight Watchers since April 2010.

Check out the photos to see her dramatic weight loss over the years:

Good grief! So now what? Next dress in the minus numbers? Kudos for losing the weight; but I think the top fell off of what should have been an 8. Catherine Middleton, waif like by comparison, is a size zero. Of course high end salespeople trumpet a smaller size where celebrities are concerned, especially when The View is in the vicinity.

and that's all that needs to be said...

That's the best looking size zero I've ever seen!

Most size zeros look like prepubescent boys. No hips. No a---. No shape whatsoever.

She looks too good to be a size zero.

I personally don't think being a size zero is something anyone should be proud of, I am glad she lost weight for herself and health and as long as she doen't lose to much of it and looks like a
stick it is fine by me. I wish I could say I were a size 16 though.

She's beautiful now, but she was beautiful before.

That said, I'd love to see WW's sales stats this morning.

no doubt that she looks great, but a size zero? not sure about that. I have recently lost quite a bit of weight myself ( 60Lbs and counting!) and started close to her size...and i am still a size 12! and that is a size 12 at almost any store, not just vanity sizing. I can appreciate all the hard work she has put into improving her health, but to throw "im a size zero" out there? who cares! just love your new self!!!

Vanity Sizing strikes again!

Good for her as long as she lost the weight in a healthy weight!

She might have worn a size 0 in one designer's dress, but a six in another. When attempting to purchase a dress for son's wedding, I had in my dressing room at Saks, a size 0 Sue Wong (fit perfectly), a size 0 Sue Wong (too tight), a size 6 Nicole Miller (too small), a size 4 Herve Leger (too small) and a size 4 Badgley Mischka (too large). I can wear a size 0 in Ann Taylor, but could never squeeze into a 0 at Gap. THE SIZE ON THE LABEL MEANS NOTHING!!!! There are no standards. Not even in one designer's clothing line. Purchase what looks good, wear what looks good and forget about the insignificant number on the HIDDEN tag. I HAVE NEVER had anyone ever ask me what size an item of clothing was when I was being complimented on it.

I agree with what you are saying. When I heard she was a size zero I was like wow then I looked at her pictures and was thinking to myself she doesn't look like a size zero maybe a 4/5 but not a 0. But I am the same way in some dresses I am smaller than others I can be a 5/6 in a dress then down to a 3/4 or up to a 7/8 sometimes. Same with jeans the sizes vary for me. So yeah maybe in one dress she's a zero but not all. She does have a small waist but is hippy so I am sure in jeans she is a bigger size. But hey kudos to her for all the weight she lost she looks amazing. I couldn't imagine how she feels losing so much weight. And also yeah size doesn't matter it's how you feel about yourself in whatever you buy..

It's called Vanity Sizing. High-end brands do it more frequently. It's crazy. I'm like a 00 at Ann Taylor Loft, but a 9 in cheap jeans.

Jennifer is a beautiful woman at any weight. A number (0, 2, 4, 6, etc...) is just that. It's just a number.

uhh i think it was just an attention gimmick to get you guys to checkout the photos! And guess what? IT WORKED! HA!

we all know darn good and well that she is NOT a size 0.
this article makes it seem like a size 0 is the goal size for most women. Eww!
Most fashion models are not even a size 0, smh

I don't know about that. I wear a size 4 and she's a heck of a lot curvier than I am. She would have to be pretty tiny. Anyway, if I read right, it's not a declaration she herself made, it was "overheard by a sales clerk". That's how rumors start and the media takes off with them.

Who cares? If it makes her cappy, fine. Why should she have to seek permission or approval from any of us?

Size 'Zero', huh? Zero means nothing. So these 'Star's who wear a size 'Zero' obviously do not exist. They are just an illusion.

I have to ask, why would a woman want to be a size 0? That makes no sense to me, when you get skinner than a zero what size are you then? I like a woman with a little weight on them, not some bone, give me a woman with a Kate Winselt body and I will be happy all day long..and my nights would see pretty promising also.

Like Iman said, "What is this size zero -- the air?"
