Sofia Vergara: I'm Always In Search Of The Perfect Bra (PHOTOS)

Between promoting her new film "The Smurfs" and enjoying her second Emmy nomination, Sofia Vergara took time to chat candidly with Redbook about embracing her very famous curves.

On embracing her assets:

"The thing is, I've had these ridiculous huge boobs since I was super young. Like, 13. I was really skinny at that time, so it was weird to have those f---ing boobs and be skinny. It was hideous. Then after I had my kids, I got hips and everything started to come together."

On wrangling her assets:

"I'm always in search of the perfect [bra]. I'll find one, wear it for a long time, and they'll discontinue it. It's the story of my life! I usually go back for black and nude, but I think a cute set of animal prints is always a nice surprise."

On decorating her assets:

"I never leave the house without earrings; I like big, bold ones. They distract from any imperfections! I'm also starting to wear more necklaces. I never thought they'd look good on me because of the boobs, but I wear ones that go down to my belly -- and that works."

Geez, there are some people here who can't wait to slam Sofia (nybaby40 jealous much?) or to complain (this is the entertainment section of AOL after all). She is (to me) totally gorgeous, mature, engaging, funny, and has some acting talent on a show I adore. I also have been "blessed" with a "rack". Sofia, when you find a great bra, stock up because you know they will be discontinued!! That is the way of all things.

What I don't understand about clothing sizes and prices is why a size 2 dress costs the same as a size 14 but a D-cup bra costs more than A- B- and C cups. There's probably a half yard more material in a size 14 dress but about two square inches more in a D-cup bra. Doesn't seem fair.

I love large natural breasts on a height & weight proportionate woman like sofia, not those big fake ones seventy five per cent of hollywood actresses have. Most of them look like someone cut a watermelon in half, and stuck it on their chest, ewww ! Keep it working sofia!

I so understand your dilemma - I too developed at a young age and was called Chesty Morgan as a young teen...I'm 5' 2" and have large breasts - I have only found that the only place I can find my size bra (32F) is online and its too expensive for me to purchase, so I make due with inappropriate bras...I've contacted Bali bras with my comments since they have affordable 32 DDD's available, etc., but to date haven't found any new styles and sizes available. I did find a UK company that makes my size, but to much money....oh well.......Thanks for sharing this Sofia.

I feel your pain, I am a 34G cup and the best place I have found is a company called Figleaves, a UK company but they have a US website as well and often have fantastic sales.
