Arnold Schwarzenegger-Maria Shriver Divorce: Former Governor Disses Maria Shriver In Questionable T-Shirt (PHOTO)

To outsiders, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's divorce appears to be amicable. After all, the estranged spouses were photographed together celebrating the former California governor's 64th birthday last week in Beverly Hills, and Schwarzenegger also recently amended his original divorce filing to grant Shriver spousal support and to pay her attorney fees.

But if the message on a T-shirt the former Governor was recently spotted wearing is to be believed, things may not be as friendly as they seem. On Sunday, Schwarzenegger was photographed in Santa Monica sporting a T-shirt with this statement on the back: "I Survived Maria."

According to TMZ, the shirt was a gift from Maria's staff, who designed it as a joke. They crossed out 2007 at the bottom of the T-shirt and wrote in 1977--the year the couple started dating.

Schwarzenegger and Shriver separated last May amid revelations that Schwarzenegger had fathered a child with former household staffer Mildred Patricia Baena. Shriver filed for divorce two months later, on July 1.

Quick Poll

What do you think of Arnold's T-shirt choice?

Really, this is the t-shirt you picked that day. Take a class in class. Whenever you received this shirt and from whom doesn't matter. It obviously had a different meaning. And you used it to dis your wife, the mother of your children , Shame, Shame on you. You SOB.
Keep your feelings to yourself.

Do we have to keep pretending that we think she was just so clueless...

Not only wearing the shirt but changing the date is disrespectful to his children. Can't imagine they were laughing.

I wonder how he would feel if they wore shirts saying they survived him . . . and then didn't have anything else to do with him.

It is futile to resist "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria", given the Austrian factor.

Personally me and the chipmunks think this hawt bixch couldn’t help but let Maria know in some back hand way that he still loves her, even if it had to come on the back of some wet sticky T shirt.

Shouldn’t you be designing your own “I survived my guilty feelings got no shame” shirt as well?

I have an opinion and I'm not afraid to state it!

Absolute surrendered public apologies and asking the take the heat from the press while asking they leave Maria and the kids alone, followed by completely surrendering in the divorce settlement doesn't sound to me like "got no shame" at all. I can't think of a more sincere repentance in recent history.

Do people not know how to read? "According to TMZ, the shirt was a gift from Maria's staff, who designed it as a joke." This is nothing but demagoguery by Huffington Post
