The Cunard Queen Victoria is a popular floating resort. The waters are crowded with sea-worthy vessels, so to make planning easier, we've done all the prep work for a cruise vacation. Destinations
The
visits a number of ports all over the globe. The ship sails through the Mediterranean, stopping in Greece, Italy and Israel before sailing west across the Atlantic to visit the Caribbean, Mexico and the Panama Canal. The Queen Victoria makes a Pacific journey out to Hawaii before heading back through the Panama Canal and cruising to Europe. There, the ship visits Germany, Norway and Russia before returning to its home port of Southampton, England.
Spacious Ship
Cunard designed the Queen Victoria to evoke the golden age of sea travel. The second of Cunard's "Three Queens" ships, Queen Victoria has two- and three-level open spaces in public areas that give the ship a more spacious feel. At 106 feet wide, the Queen Victoria is the widest ship that can safely pass through the Panama Canal.

. A two-night round-trip cruise from Hamburg, Germany, to Southampton costs $495 per person for an inside cabin and $1,595 for a Queen's Grill Suite. A 20-night trip to the Canary Islands costs $5,385 per person for an inside stateroom and $19,085 for a Queen's Grill Suite.
Excursions
Passengers recommend booking an excursion through Cunard if you wish to explore
, since Cunard will obtain all Russian travel visas for you. Other passengers recommended the Cunard trip to Amsterdam. Passengers said the guide was knowledgeable and, when the bus arrived back to the ship late, the Queen Victoria was still at the pier waiting for the passengers.
Dining Experience
The
is a two-level, Art Deco restaurant . Britannia guests dine at either an early or late seating. Those who have booked a Princess Grill Suite dine in the Princess Grill, an exclusive restaurant. The Queen's Grill Suite passengers dine in the Queen's Grill, a restuarant dedcated to luxurious dining. Guests may also dine at one of the additional restaurants on board, including the Golden Lion, the Queen's Room and celebrity chef Todd English's restaurant.
