The riots began on Saturday in Tottneham in northern London, two days after Mark Duggan, 29, was shot and killed by police. Violence and unrest has since spread to other areas of the city, including Peckham, Croydon, Hackney, Lewisham and Clapham Junctions.

According to the BBC, police have arrested 215 people. Of these, 25 have been charged.

Prime Minister David Cameron is returning early from his vacation in Italy in order to meet with government officials about the rioting.
