Don't ever ask Aziz Ansari to hold your baby. The "Parks & Recreation" star stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday to hype his new film "30 Minutes Or Less," and he covered a variety of other topics as well, including the dangerous similarities between infants and iPhones.
Ansari, who got his start in New York's alternative comedy scene, has steadily risen to fame over the last seven years thanks in large part to his guileless charm. He is genuinely amused by the stories and ideas he relates to an audience, which translates into the kind of laughter that feels like you've bonded with a real person. And it shows in his fan base. During the interview, when Kimmel breaks out some images from "Dogs That Look Like Tom Haverford" (Ansari's character on "Parks & Recreation"), you get the distinct impression that this is neither the first nor the last time the comedian has inspired fan art.
Check out parts 1-3 of his interview with Kimmel to hear Ansari talk about everything from why he doesn't want kids yet, to the Trader Joe's sandwich he inspired, to how long it takes to shoot a car chase scene.
