Grand Ship
The Celebrity Infinity is a Millennium-class cruise ship and among one of the largest and most luxurious ships in the Celebrity fleet. The ship devotes almost as much room to spa facilities as it does to pools. The public areas use marble and polished wood to evoke an old-world European flavor.
Special Features
The Celebrity Infinity prides itself on providing an abundance of
. Learn how to blow glass, mix a drink or take a virtual tour of the Holy Land. All these classes and activities are available on the Infinity. But taking a cruise is supposed to be fun. The Infintiy offers lounges that cater to everything from karaoke to trivia. Nature more your style? Enjoy drinks on the Lawn Club, a special outdoor area set aside for entertaining. Or stop and smell the roses, literally, when you take a stroll through the Infinity's Botanical Conservatory.
Accommodations
The

staterooms on the Celebrity Infinity are identical, with the exception of the windows. Larger rooms offer more amenities. The
stateroom features a large balcony and a private sitting area that converts to a bed at night. The luxurious
offers more than 2,500 square feet, including a private verandah with an outdoor hot tub.
Cost
Because of the wide-ranging cruises available, rates vary. The Celebrity Infinity's 15-night cruise around Cape Horn can cost as much as $2,349 per person for an inside cabin or $7,199 for a suite. A seven-night cruise to Alaska is $649 for an inside cabin and $2,199 for a suite. Rates also vary by season. The same inside cabin on the Alaskan cruise that costs $649 in May costs $1,099 in July.
Excursion
A must-see excursion from the Celebrity Infinity is the
, according to passengers. The tour shows you such varied life as sea lions, armadillos and penguins all living naturally in the same park. Lunch is included with the tour.
Dining Experience
The
is the Celebrity Infinity's two-story main dining room. It's designed to harken back to the golden age of passenger ships. The Bistro on Five offers fun flavorful fare, including sandwiches and salads. Qsine mixes flavors and dishes from all over the world to create a playground of tastes. The Blu Restaurant is set aside for Aqua Class guests and offers healthy fare.
Maiden Voyage
The Celebrity Infinity embarked on her
on March 3, 2001. The ship is currently in dry dock for refurbishment. Infinity is scheduled to re-emerge in December 2011. The newly equipped Infinity will travel with new restaurants and technological upgrades.
