We’ve heard all the mumbling and grumbling over the news that Lionsgate is remaking the 1987 classic film, “Dirty Dancing,” with Kenny Ortega in the director’s chair, but like it or not, it’s happening.

Jennifer Grey, who starred as Baby opposite Patrick Swayze’s Johnny in the original, has already given her blessing, tweeting Tuesday, "I love @Kennyortega and trust that he will do something special #DirtyDancingRemake."

Now that the remake is officially on, the next question is who will attempt to fill Grey and Swayze’s shoes? What about Dr. Houseman and Baby’s quirky sister, Lisa?

We decided to help the Hollywood execs out and put together some casting suggestions. Sure, some of the them are a little obvious (Zac Efron) and some a little far-fetched (George Clooney), but we wanted to cover all of our bases.

Who do you want to see in the “Dirty Dancing” remake?
