Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson Talks Jon Jones, Calls Out 'Fair Weather Fans' (VIDEO)

UFC Fighter Curses Out 'Fair Weather Fans'

Not surprisingly, someone who goes by the name "Rampage" does not tread lightly when it comes to his foes and critics.

On Tuesday, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson released a YouTube video in which he took a few shots at Jon Jones, his opponent in an upcoming UFC light heavyweight title bout. After beginning by complimenting his opponent's skills, Jackson changed his tune, claiming that "the guy can't bust a grape."

The two had mostly been respectful to each other leading up to the fight, previously only engaging in some light verbal jabs at a pre-fight press conference last month, according to MMAfighting.com.

Jackson also had some harsh words for fans not in his corner. After thanking those supporters who have stood "behind him since Day 1," he ripped "these new fans in the UFC, they booed me after I fought Chuck [Liddell]." In unleashing his vitriol towards his detractors, he went as far as to say that he "don't give two shits about those fans."

Jackson was referring to the 2007 fight in which he defeated beloved UFC fighter Chuck Liddell in front of a hostile Las Vegas crowd.

Jackson has never been one to mince words. During season 10 of the hit show Ultimate Fighter, Rampage was a fan favorite due to his various quips that would make even Yogi Berra proud, including his classic assertion, "I'm not too smart of a guy, but for some reason when I get into the Octagon, I'm a genius."

No doubt, Jackson is hoping that genius manifests when he and Jones square off on on September 24th in Denver, Colorado.
