The view from the observation deck of the Taipei 101 skyscraper in Taipei, Taiwan is impressive to say the least.
On a recent three day trip, it provided the perfect vantage point for shooing a Taipei time lapse video from the highest point in the city.
It is the highest point of the city by far, and the third tallest building in the world at 1,670 feet.
This is the first video in a four part series taking a look into the city of Taipei as Taiwan celebrates it's 100 year anniversary, so check back soon for videos on the Taipei night market food scene, a weird underground shopping mall, and a glance into the major Taipei historic monuments.
It is also the third video in our "On High" time lapse series where we take a unique look at cities of the world from their highest points.
