Don't sit home while on unemployment or not employed. Get a sewing machine or jig saw and start making things. I'm starting my own business without any income at this point and it took a long time to get started. Now it's beginning to pay off. Use that down time to look for another job but also start creating....making something from nothing.

Getting a financial education is very important. I recommend reading Robert Kiyosaki books and attending business seminars. Read blogs like these...

Get a forigner....they do'nt pay taxes for five years. (for starting a business.) Then they "sell" this business to a relative so they do not pay taxes for five years. Save some money folks. Start a business
