So except for the food this will be like Cadillac Jack's on San Fernando Rd. or Johnie's at Wilshire and Fairfax-prop restaurants that only open when they are filming at the locations.

Maybe if they come out with Feran Adria's "El Bulli Frozen Entrees" I'll have a shot at it. Otherwise I'm content to enjoy the good food available right here. I'll leave it to the professional eaters to swoon over El Bulli.

Caught Bourdain's "No Reservations" segment on El Bulli and it was fascinating. I would love to eat course after course of exquisitely prepared and beautifully presented food. The guy is a genius.

To me that episode has to rank with the best of the series. Just watching the joy on both Bourdain and Adria's faces just hit home with me. A genius at work and a man who clearly recognized his genius.
