Kristen Stewart Covers 'W' Magazine; 'Twilight' Star Talks Growing Up, Getting Married And Giving Birth (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 08/12/11 03:06 PM ET   Updated: 10/12/11 06:12 AM ET

Channeling Catherine Deneuve glamour, a cat-eyed Kristen Stewart covers the September issue of W Magazine and shows us just how far she's come since first meeting Bella Swan.

While her on/off-screen love interest, Robert Pattinson, made cheeky reference to the long-anticipated consummation of their love, Stewart gives more ladylike thought to the evolution of her character.

"For me, it was ridiculously dramatic: I get married, give birth, the baby has an incredibly accelerated growth rate we're all very concerned about, and I say goodbye to my dad for the last time ever."

In the near-end of the "Twilight" saga, the 21-year-old star has matured a great deal, though she reveals her age as she describes her wedding as "awesome" and the dress as a "BFD dress. Huge deal."

Though Stewart had not read the "Twilight" series before auditioning, the actress said the themes of adolescents dealing with adult responsibilities spoke to her. Perhaps, as the article suggests, it's because she has been acting since the age of nine--and not in sunny, children's comedies.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" is set to be a more grown up edition of the tween series, flushing out the steamy romance between Bella and Pattinson's Edward.

Director Bill Condon recently told Entertainment Weekly, "We shot everything -- whether it's the lovemaking or the childbirth -- as potent and powerful as it can be."

At the end of the day, what attracted Stewart to her most famous role is a sentiment we can all relate to: "I f*cking love me a vampire."

Those are great editorial pictures, but I'm really not a fan of Kristen Stewart's personality. I remember her complaining and cursing in an interview about the media and how she just wanted to sit in her parents living room and draw the shades and live a normal F+ing life; then I find out her parents have been in the business all along so she's grown up around it all. She just sounds like a spoiled entitled brat and I have yet to hear anything new or valid come out of her mouth. So that's fine I don't have to like her please don't bother responding with a vicious defending post.

The cover shot of Kristen looks like Priscilla Presley on her wedding day...but most of you would be too young to remember that! Here's a shot:

Granted, the Bella role in Twlight is oh hum, but i watched her in several other movies and shes good.

Check out Welcome to the Rielly's with her and James Gandolfinie (sp).
She plays a teenage stripper and hooker. I was impressed with her performance.
She has some earlier movies like Adventureland which she was really good also and another where she plays a young girl with palsy. Very good.

Once she breaks away from the Twilight movies she will shine as a great actress i bet.

Though she is one of the highest paid actresses in hollywood, but by her lifestyle and such you would never know it. Pretty humble kid!

Wow! The facial similarities with a young Brooke Shields are striking. However, Ms. Shields had those eyes and eyebrows without the makeup. This girl is very beautiful nonetheless.

I can't stand this woman, whenever she's interviewed she acts like she's doing the world a favor just answering questions. It's like she can't stand her fans, the people who made her famous.

Actually she's wonderful with her fans. I've been following her career for years since before Twilight but know a lot of her Twilight fans can attest she's generous with her time. Here she hugs a fan after the Twilight premiere http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PR7QKNZr2k. I met her at the Eclipse premiere last year here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD-lDKMOGgs.
That's the second time she signed autographs. When she first arrived I was the first one she greeted but i didn't have anything for her to sign, hadn't planned on going. I felt like such a dork and told her I was a badfan and laughed, but she looked at me seriously and said "awww no you're not, that's the coolest thing ever. Thanks for coming" So don't tell me she's ungrateful and above it all. She's humbled by it to a fault. So sick of the hate leveled at her, she doesn't deserve it.

When I see her in interviews or appearances I see a very awkward young girl who does not feel comfortable in the spotlight. She doesn't seem stuck up at all, just very uncomfortable.

well if you saw at Comic Con - she is a whole different person now in an interviewing - getting much more comfortable - she is extremely shy - and when everyone just makes issue about what she says or doesn't say - how can she get better - But she's come along way - she was terrific at Comic Con and is super with her fans

I don't usually go for the tons of makeup thing, but it definitely works for her. She's gorgeous in these photos.

These photos don't even look like her. She loses her distinctive look when covered in so much makeup.

Wow. I wasn't even sure it was her until I got to the 3rd pic. Pretty amazing make up job but she's more beautiful w/out all that goo.

I Love her reputation as bland or sour or never smiling. It's so "anti-Hollywood." She doesn't seem to "need" fame.
