Brad Pitt Casts Son Maddox As Lead Role In 'Battling Boys' (VIDEO)

Did Maddox Jolie-Pitt just land his first movie role? You bet he did -- with a little help from his famous pops. Brad Pitt cast his eldest son in the lead role of his Production company, Plan B's latest project, "Battling Boy." The graphic novel turned silver screen flick will showcase a courageous, villain-battling Maddox who is blessed with special powers as the son of a god.

For some reason, the role doesn't seem too far removed from Maddox's own reality -- he is the son of Hollywood demigod, Brad Pitt and often finds himself fighting off the intrusive eye of the paparazzi. Now the 10-year-old can put his born and bred duck and cover skills to good use as the kid monster slayer.

"Battling Boys" is slated to hit theaters in 2013.

Good for them. It's his dad's production company, what parent doesn't try to help and their child. People from every walk of life and occupation usually do help their kids if they want it.

It is highly unlikely that anyone posting here knows anything personally about this family or whose idea it was for Maddox to try his hand at acting. He see his parents working all the time and may just want to work like mom and dad do. It's quite normal.

The comments on their life style are laughable and short sighted. It is humorous how people like to judge others by their standards, but if the shoe were on the other foot and someone with different values were judging them it would not be right.

funny with all the commentary I didn't see anyone speculating that possibly at 10 a child has dreams idolizes his parents and maybe just maybe it was Maddox who told his parents that he wants to be an action star like them. My son already knows he wants to be a cartoonist and he would be a published cartoonist if only I owned my own publishing company. Give them a break and some credit.

These people are not welfare cases. As much as I want the freedom to choose for myself and my family... I sure hope they are accorded the same rights. Nobody here, want some stranger to dictate to them or their family, about how to live, where to go etc... It is amusing to read some of these strange comments... Everybody, just be happy for them. Maddox was the first of her adopted children just as her marriage to Billy Bob Thornton was breaking up. She was still wearing his blood filled vile round her neck and as neurotic as she presently is yet allowed to adopt a child because she was Angelina Jolie.

Enter Brad Pitt, 3 biological children, along with an additional 3 adoptions. She's now mentally stable thanks to Brad Pitt's love and support, right? WRONG......Angelina Jolie mentally stable? That's a misnomer, joke, rhetorical ha-ha, whatever you would like to call it as long as you don't use the word NORMAL!

Now 10 year old Maddox is being given the starring role in an action movie ( competitive rivalry with Will Smith??) From the sources circulating various stories, the 7 Jolie-Pitt children all have
emotional problems in their young lives, including sibling rivalry, parental attention, sharing,
all the traumas of pre-teen growth.

Whether Maddox can act or not doesn't matter, it's his Father's prduction company. Can little Maddox keep it together like Jaden Smith and remain "normal"? Time will tell!

Actually this is the way of the world; always has been and always will be. People will always look out for their children and give them a leg up which is a natural thing. Whether Brad does it now or wait until his child become of age that'll be a part of the kids inheritence. Good for him. Smile. Thank god for my mother got me on a good start with money and property.

My job in this world is to share with my fellow man because what goes around, comes around. There will be no true happiness and success without sharing with those who are less fortunate.
