Over the years, more kids have grown up dreaming about making their way to Southern California from places like Central Pennsylvania than the other way around.

This isn't the case, though, for the 11- or 12-year-old members of Huntington Beach's Ocean View Little League All Star team, who have been dreaming of reaching the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

In a battle for Golden State supremacy, Huntington Beach squared off against a squad from Red Bluff in the northern half of the state with a berth a trip to Williamsport on the line.

Pitcher Hagen Danner authored an unbelievable performance to lead the Huntington Beach club to the 2-1 victory. His virtuoso complete-game gem saw him retire the last 18 batters he faced, with 13 of the final 15 outs coming via the strikeout.
