The Carnival Dream is a popular floating resort. The waters are crowded with sea-worthy vessels, so to make planning easier, we've done all the prep work for a cruise vacation. sails to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Fla. The ship stops at such ports as Cozumel, Mexico; Nassau, Bahamas; and St. Thomas.
Luxury Cruise Ship
The Carnival Dream is the first of the cruise line's Dream-class ships. These ships are almost twice as large as Carnival's Fantasy-class ships. The Dream offers more luxuries than the smaller ships, making it easier to cater to families.
Special Features
The Carnival Dream features
, which includes a saltwater massaging whirlpool. The ship also has plenty of activites for younger members, including children's clubs,
water park, a nine-hole miniature golf course and a video arcade. Grown-ups can escape to Serenity, the adults-only haven, or try their hand at poker in the Jackpot Casino.
Accommodations
The Carnival Dream offers more balcony rooms than its predecessors, with balconies on six of the nine classes of staterooms. The Dream offers
balconies, which are much lower on the ship than previous balconies. These balconies give a close-up view of the ocean.
Cost
All scheduled cruises on the Carnival Dream are seven-day trips, but prices vary depending on the destination and the season. A cruise to the Western Caribbean in November 2012 costs $459 per person for an interior cabin, and $1,119 per person for a suite. A cruise in the Eastern Caribbean in November 2011 costs $609 per person for an interior cabin, and $2,309 per person for a suite.

Passengers recommended the
. They enjoyed the sailboat to the snorkeling site, and the beach party with plenty of slides and lounge chairs.
Dining Experience
The Carnival Dream's two
, the Crimson and the Scarlet, serve two assigned seatings for dinner. The Lido buffet transforms into the Seaview Bistro for casual dinner dining. In addition, the ship has the Chef Art's Steakhouse, a premium restaurant open at dinner.
