Desmond Bishop Forgets ID, Misses Out On Packers' Visit To White House

Packers Linebacker Misses Out On White House Visit

Last week, the Green Bay Packers visited the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory with President Barack Obama. However, one Packer missed out on seeing President Barack Obama.

Linebacker Desmond Bishop happened to forget his ID on the team charter flight and couldn't get past White House security.

The 27-year-old tweeted about his disappointment.

"Just found some extra motivation tweeples. I forgot my id on plane so won't get access to see @barackobama .. This time! But next year ;)," he wrote. Tho dissapointed, i ll live vicariously thru my fellow Teammates.. Nap time.. As jack reacher wud say 'sleep wen u can..'"

Bishop was drafted by the Packers in the sixth round of the 2007 draft. He finished with 103 tackles, two forced fumbles and an interception in 2010.
