Rob Pattinson Clothing Line: Would You Buy It?

In an unexpected turn, Rob Pattinson may be jumping on the celebrity-clothing line bandwagon, says Us Weekly.

While Pattinson's not known for having particularly fashion-forward taste, his co-star Kellan Lutz has planted the idea in his head with his own line, Abbot & Main.

Lutz talked to Women's Wear Daily about his line, saying, "I grew up wanting to be an inventor. I went to school for chemical engineering. I love to create. I’ve always wanted to get into fashion."

OK, we suppose it's not too far a leap between chemical engineering and fashion design. Pattinson's inspiration comes from something a bit simpler: "He's always so hipster," Lutz says of his friend.

If by "hipster" he means "raggedy," then sure. Pattinson's usual attire includes an untucked button-down, some nondescript trousers and his signature disheveled hair 'do. Luckily, Lutz told Us Weekly that the tentative name of the line is "Rags by Rob," so at least there's no false advertising.

Fingers crossed the actor isn't also planning on opening his own hair salon -- given his recent cut, we wouldn't want to get within ten feet of a scissors-wielding Pattinson.
