Cheryl Burke Wants Bill Clinton For 'Dancing With The Stars'

Burke Wants Clinton For 'DWTS'

Despite what you may have heard, Tiffany Thiessen tells me she is not doing "Dancing With The Stars" until she is 50 years old and Queen Latifah's spokesperson says her royal highness will not be taking to the ballroom floor. However, a surprising new name has emerged in the "Dancing" circuit –- President Bill Clinton.

“If I could pick one person to dance with, it would be Bill Clinton or Bradley Cooper,” "DWTS" pro, Cheryl Burke tells me. “I think Mr. Clinton has a charm about him. He’s very charming and I think he can talk his way into anything.”

Although it is unlikely Burke’s wish will come true when the celebrity cast in announced on August 29th, she's still crossing her fingers -- the show keeps the professional dancers in the dark for as long as possible as they all apparently can't keep a secret.

“They give us a little bio before we meet them,” Burke tells me. “I am horrible with celebrities and I don’t know anyone other than the obvious ones like George Clooney and Brad Pitt. So they let us know so we can be like, ‘oh my god I’m a huge fan of you.' I will tell you, every single person I did not know except Drew Lachey and Ian Ziering. I had to Google every other person I’ve danced with.”

Burke reveals that no matter who she gets paired with, she has to accept: “No, we cannot turn down a partner. You can’t back out, you are under contract.” Lets hope Cheryl gets someone she knows and likes. Are you listening, Mr. President?
