EXCLUSIVE: Greg Behrendt Talks The Bachmanns, His Favorite Music And 'Walking The Room' (VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE: Greg Behrendt's Relationship Advice For The Bachmanns

Greg Behrendt may be best known as the co-author of the mega-hit "He's Just Not That Into You," but comedy devotees are much more familiar with his tightly constructed, instantly accessible stand-up comedy.

After rising though the San Francisco comedy scene, Behrendt has had an enviable career that has included authoring the aforementioned relationship advice book (which was later adapted into a film starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston), serving as a story editor on "Sex and the City," hosting a couple of talk shows, and releasing several comedy albums and specials.

These days, when Behrendt isn't on tour (he just returned from stints in South Africa and Australia), he hosts the delightful podcast "Walking the Room" with fellow comic Dave Anthony, and even produced Karen Kilgariff's latest musical comedy album, "Behind You."

HuffPost Comedy had a chance to catch up with Greg in New York, where he's performing at Caroline's On Broadway from Aug. 18-21. (More info can be found here.) He let us know what he thinks about the current presidential race, the music he listens to these days and his expert relationship advice for Michele and Marcus Bachmann.

Also, the music in the interview is Greg's band The Reigning Monarchs, whose music can be found here.
