Anne Hathaway Talks Catwoman Suit, Exercise And Eating Kale On 'Chelsea Lately'

Coming off the heels of her paparazzi-blasting rap, Anne Hathaway is now making some noise about her tauter-than-ever physique.

The 28-year-old who plays Catwoman in the highly-anticipated "The Dark Knight Rises" has been fielding a lot of compliments and even more questions about her toned figure.

While promoting her new tear-jerker, "One Day," Hathaway stopped by "Chelsea Lately" Wednesday to share a few details about her strict diet and exercise.

Though never really a fan of working out, the actress said after getting over the hump, she's now "that person" who really enjoys exercise.

In the beginning, she was so weak, she remembered "working out next to a pregnant Jessica Alba, and she could do more push-ups than I could!”

While Hathaway is normally a vegetarian, the cheeky actress said to fit into her "unforgiving" Catwoman suit it requires a more extreme diet.

"Right now I'm living on kale and dust."

Yes, it's such a huge burden to be a millionaire actress with throngs of adoring fans. Boo-hoo. And she tries too hard and is a really unnatural actress. Her best work was in Brokeback Mountain.

So to avoid criticism in the media and from the public- this sensible, healthy, slim woman is reduced to eating unsustainable amounts of food.

But that said she's probably right, people would have been lining up to call her a fatass.

This is why I didn't think she's be a good Catwoman.

She's chunkyish, but there's nothing wrong with that except for this role.

Catwoman requires agility and an athletic look. Dieting like she is won't give her an athletic look and is unhealthy and gives girls a bad role model.

Ha! I love Hathaway. Always a sense of humor. Kale and dust. ha! She must be so hungry! It's a shame so many of you have to be so negative and not just enjoy such an outgoing, beautiful young woman. Anne--hope the filming ends soon so you can get back to your healthy self. It's a shame the film makers seem to think women have to be stick thin to be beautiful.

Never a bog fan of hers, but I dare say she doesn't seem to have the sex appeal, the allure, that the previous catwomen have had. She is so skinny now, her nose and teeth take up her whole face!

It's funny. No, ironic is maybe the better term. I was watching a re-run of Bones last night and it involved the murder of a little beauty pageant star. Bones stated in her way "concentration on human beauty is the sign of a failing civilization.." (more or less). It was an ah ha moment for me.
Of course she then listed different empires to prove her point.
