Kimmel Reveals Rick Perry's New Campaign Ad (VIDEO)

First Posted: 08/18/11 09:54 AM ET Updated: 10/18/11 06:12 AM ET

After Texas Governor Rick Perry made some questionable statements recently suggesting that he would find Federal Reserve Chairman almost "treasonous" if he printed more money, as well as facing other questions being raised about incendiary messages from his past, many have been calling for Perry to answer and apology for his language.

But don't these critics know that answering and apologizing simply ain't the Texas way? Jimmy Kimmel revealed a Rick Perry campaign ad where Perry proves that he has no intention of straying from his Lone Star roots.

Most of the panty waists commenting on this page wouldn't dare talk the trash they are talking to Rick Perry's face. He would kick your @#*&. One thing about the Huffington Post, it always has a lot of Obama worshipers on board. Obama has made the USA the laughing stock of the world, while he and his family spend as many millions of our tax dollars as they can taking trips to expensive places. Wasn't it thoughtful of them to fly on two different aircraft to their vacation spot and have a caravan of 40 vehicles just to go to the book store? What an absolutely disgusting president and first lady.

As if the blow hard GWB had not made us the laughingstock with his tough cowboy talk and major failures. Did you manage to count the over 500 days of vacation time Bush took. You are so foxed up, you cannot think for yourself. Ooooo, bad boy called us a panty waist, Ooooo, it's so mean.

David Bender is one of my favorite political analysts. He's one of the few who is right 90% of the time. I've heard him say several times that those of us on the left should be careful about underestimating Perry. He reminds us that liberals were so happy when Reagan won the nomination the first time. He was seen as so extreme and had said such foolish things (trees cause pollution) that there was no way Americans could vote for him. And then there is of course the case of Bush 2 who was almost as bad as Perry and won not once but twice. Be careful about underestimating the capability of Americans (or as Perry would say 'Mericans) to ignore substance and go for swagger.

Good points except Bush did not win the election twice. One of his terms was given to him by the Federal Supreme court. There was a problem with the voting machines concerning hanging chads in the Florida election results. While the Florida Supreme Court wanted to go back and count them, the federal court overuled the count, and basically appointed Bush.

I confess to being a "grammar and spelling policeman." I can't help but comment when someone rants insanely and at the same time so abuses the language as to be nearly unintelligible, especially with spellcheck available. And I know it does no good, but merely alienates. But please, people; Perry suggested that Texas SECEDE, not SUCCEED. They are not the same word, honest.
11:07 PM on 08/20/2011
Texas has already succeeded and I agree with Perry, if the majority of Americans still want the wussy failure of a socialist president we have now, Texas ought to secede. Maybe my home state will join them.

High rates of teenage pregnancy, minimum wage or lower jobs, money received from the federal government, the highest rate in the country of drop-outs who don't get a high school diploma, And you want to join them? WHY? Never mind. It just doesn't matter anymore.

Yes I do miss the cartoons of George Bush. Towards the end as his approval rating kept going down they would show him smaller and smaller until he was standing on his desk. Hilarious.
