'I Just Texted To Say I Love You' Parody Gives Stevie Wonder Song Modern Twist (Video)

WATCH: 'I Just Texted To Say I Love You'

Call to say "I love you"? Forget it, that would require too much effort. Today love is all about technology, at least that's what a new viral video is depicting in the parody of Stevie Wonder's classic tune. Need to tell that special someone how you feel? Text it, baby.

The skit features vocals by "American Idol"'s Elliott Yamin, while Sarah Hyland ("Modern Family") and Matt Prokop ("High School Musical 3") play a couple so indulged in social media, video chatting and texting that one of them loses touch of what's happening IRL.

Although we recognize the scenes are an exaggerated interpretation of how today's youth interact, how far is it from the truth? After all, sometimes it's pretty darn difficult to put down that smartphone.
