The Costa Fortuna offers a more traditional range of cruise amenities rather than some of the wilder special features seen on other modern cruise ships, but it doesn't lack for entertainment options, according to CruiseCritic.com. There are four pools, a water slide, many lounges and bars, a video arcade, several hot tubs and a kids-only pool. The casino and spa are small but notable, and the exercise options are strong, including a tennis court and a running track.

Cabins aboard the Costa Fortuna are standard for cruise ships of this size and class, according to
. The majority of cabins have a view of the ocean. All cabins include a safe, refrigerator and hair dryer. Various suite options add DVD players, whirlpool tubs, additional furniture and more spacious balconies.

Prices aboard the Costa Fortuna are in keeping with a cruise ship of its size and class, according to its official website. Prices for interior cabins run in the $600 range, $900 for oceanview staterooms, $1,400 for cabins with a balcony and more than $2,500 for suites for seven-night cruises. Prices on board will be listed in euros. A gratuity is automatically added to passenger accounts, and there are a variety of deals available on the corporate website.

One popular excursion is a trip to Rhodes, Greece, according to
. The castle tour is recommended, and the city is walkable and features quality shopping. Additionally, the city has public Wi-Fi access.
Dining Experience
The Costa Fortuna features two primary restaurants, according to
. Breakfast and lunch at each are open seating, whereas dinner has two set seatings. There is an alternative restaurant that requires reservations and an extra fee, as well as buffet options on the Lido deck. There is a traditional midnight buffet and 24-hour room service from a limited menu.
