What an absurd interpretation of this situation.  The Obama administration is deporting record numbers of undocumented immigrants.  The border is now tighter and more secure than it has in the past several decades.  Illegal immigration to this country is decreasing.

The reality is that we have 12 million illegal immigrants living in this country, and ICE operating at its full capacity  Read More...

Jan Brewer is absolutely correct, and this backdoor amnesty is sticking in the backdoor of American citizens, and is destroying our schools, overwhelming our medical services, and stealing the American Dream of those that legally deserved it and worked for it.

Bravo, Ms. Brewer for having more "you know whats" than Obama.

and....Impeach!

I disagree with gov. brewer...this is pretty much FRONT door amnesty. Thinly veiled at best. It is unfortunate that our President seems to have forgotten the oath of office where he swore to uphold the constitution and the laws of this country. Presidente Obamez will find out in 2012 what Americans think of his pandering to illegals. Adios mi amigo!!

Why is the MSN and HuffPo ignoring the California Senate voting to extend tax payer funding to illegal aliens in higher education?

We are losing this country piece by piece, unless we stand up and reject this illegal behavior.

Free press? No. Corporate press, that will censor what does not fit their agenda.

I hear ya. Live in California and wrote a letter to Gov Jerry Brown to veto this bill. I would have written to my legislative representative but he is a give um anything socialist.

Since the US government sued AZ, NOW is the time to sue back! If Obama refuses to enforce the law, then there is a good case to be made that he should be forced to obey it by the Federal courts.

In this regards, I remember when Eisenhower was President and he disagreed with the Brown vs Topeka ruling of the SCOTUS. Yet when a Federal court ordered Little Rock schools to comply with the ruling, he did NOT hesitate to sent in the US Army to ENFORCE the LAW! If Eisenhower could do that, Obama sure as HELL can and should have the SAME respect for law that Eisenhower had.

I guess one of the new HP comments criteria is that if you get too many 'favorited' on your comment (and it doesn't have a liberal view) it gets pulled. Talk about a communistic way of managing the First Amendment.

The 'dream act' was voted down in the democratic process. Kommisar Obama's popularity is taking a major hit in the Latino community, so he once again circumvents democracy.

Communistic? Are you kidding, your choice to participate and follow the rules, or not. All up to you, not a communist in sight, particularly since this is not a "government run" website.

BS! There was NOTHING that would cause the comment to be pulled except the 20+ favorites that it received. That sir/madame is stifling the message!

She'd be hollering no matter what Obama did. Dig a mote and put alligators in it. I'm sure the GOP Florida Governor would be glad to give you some. The GOP said they'd work on an immigration policy. So he put more troops down there, put up drones, and deported more than any President did and yet you're still complaining because that's what you do best. So where's the GOP immigration policy. McCain had one which he is now running away from. Come back when you folks actually know what you want. In the mean time take some responsibility for the situation yourself. If you don't like it, complain to McCain. You people run from your own policies.

They did take responsibility and passed a law, circumvented by the DOJ under Kommisar Obama.
09:41 AM on 08/20/2011
He's not a Kommisar. Why do you lie and push this silliness? Is it a GOP necessity--name calling? Do you only feel good about yourself by name calling? All you do is keep moving the goal posts. You run away from your own programs as soon as he agrees with you The gop stand for nothing and neither does she.

Republicans can't make up their minds, unless of course Obama gets on board and agrees to what the Republicans want, and then they're totally against it.

Mexico is not a state. They are a separate nation. They, and their citizens, refuse to recognize our national borders. Apply for citizenship. But if you are here illegally, you must be deported.
03:46 AM on 08/20/2011
It is an amnesty. There is no question. Obama hates American workers and he hates American families. He wants cheap labor. He wants more free trade deals, more work visas, and amnesty.

Ignoring the laws of our country (Obama and the illegals) on immigration is just the first step. Now hundreds of thousands of illegals will get work permits while we have 25 MILLION under-employed and unemployed citizens.

For someone who has said we are a country based on the "rule of law", Obama certainly seems able to ignore those laws when it will get him the votes from the Hispanic bloc.

Governor Mudslide of Arizona said while running for Governor and just before signing SB1070 that they found headless bodies near Phoenix. She later retracted her statement. In short she lied.

A Pinal County Deputy Sheriff claims he got shot by a drug dealer the day Governor Brewer signed SB1070. Ballistic test later proved he shot himself. He lied.

Senator McCain stated publicly that Mexicans started the forest fires in Arizona. Oh how about in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Florida. He lied.

Now you tell me. Should you believe anything coming out of Arizona?

And Gov Moonbeam of CA is set to sign a law granting tax payer funds for illegal aliens to attend college.

In my lifetime I cannot remember a bill signed into law that took US Citizen taxes to pay for people illegally in the country.

What country does this?

I absolutely love the courage displayed by Jan Brewer. Dims playing politics with Latinos and Hispanics is disgusting.

If the dims had the courage of their convictions, they would take advantage of holding the Senate and WH and pass some meaningful legislation to once and for all eliminate these issues.

But no, they would rather 'play' the Hispanics and Latinos as their political pawns. Shame on you, dims.
