Jonathan Baldwin, Thomas Jones Fight: Chiefs Teammates Go At It In Locker Room

Chiefs Teammates Fight In Locker Room

Well, this doesn't bode well for the Kansas City Chiefs just three weeks before the start of the 2011 NFL season. According to Nick Wright of 610 Radio in Kansas City, rookie receiver Jonathan Baldwin got in a fight with veteran running back Thomas Jones in the locker room earlier this week.

Per Wright, the 26th overall pick in the 2011 draft injured his wrist and will likely miss the rest of the preseason. Baldwin is said to be "extremely doubtful" for Week 1 as well.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed the scuffle on Twitter.

Jones, a 12-year veteran, rushed for 893 yards and six touchdowns last season as the No. 2 running back behind Jamaal Charles.

Baldwin, 22, played at the University of Pittsburgh for three years and recorded highs of 1,111 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 2009.
