Slide 6: Google made tons and tons of money from the acquisition of DoubleClick.

Let's see what they do with Motorola. It is a new line of business for them, but they don't have zero experience with them either. They needed to have more direct control and be able to push the Android "reference" model.

As long as it is overall profitable, they will greatly benefit from being able to produce their own line. It will help make Android in general even a bigger success.

Hopefully they are wise enough to keep the brightest people at the Motorola division and let them continue doing their jobs without excessive micro-management.

"More likely....Prefer spending their money"..... that's why they're iphone users and true of most Apple users. Price conscious people don't buy Apple because they're overpriced.

I just saw an HP Tablet commercial this morning. This must have been a sudden decision on their part. Would not be surprised if the Google Motorola thing did not play a part.

Oh, I LOVE playing this game!

92% of Huffington Post readers are unaware that Andrew Breitbart is good friends with Arianna Huffington and helped her set up this website.

83.21% of Huffington Post readers would like to have negative badges for trolls.

62.43% of HP readers have eaten at least one waffle this year.

15.63859% of all posts are actually published after moderation on Huffington/Breitbart Post.

The bloggers on HP typically make 0.000000000011% of what they would make at a real news site.

I love statistics, especially the ones I get to just make up like HP, but I'm only 87% sure of that.

Lenovo makes pcs. Apple sells cellphones. Comparing the sales of the 2 Is a bit absurd. That would be like comparing the sales of HTC to MS.
11:56 PM on 08/21/2011
Not entirely true. They released an Android tablet just last month, and was the first Android Table (not phone) to support a Netflix app.
