WATCH: Penn. Man Donates Blood 400 Times

Paul Olson made his 400th blood donation this past week.

The 79-year-old man who lives outside of Philadelphia donates twice a month, Mainlinemedianews.com reports. He meets the required iron and platelet count in order to give to cancer patients. Referring to patients, he tells the news outlet:

"We all know someone who has died."

Olson says he feels that giving blood rejuvenates him and that his goal is to donate 500 times.

"The Red Cross needs more donors. I really feel good [about giving] because it helps other people. Two weeks and I'll be doing it again."
