Alexa Chung Is Now Our East Village Neighbor

Alexa Chung's Stylish New Digs

The New York Observer reports that just a few weeks after splitting with her beau, Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Brit It-girl Alexa Chung has moved from her former Williamsburg digs to a new one-bedroom in an art-deco residence on East 3rd Street in Manhattan.

And in New York, solitude doesn’t come cheap. The price for the for the 719-square-foot apartment? $600,000.

Chung's new East Village location is conveniently located right by both of NYC’s Madewell outposts, helpful since her new collaboration with the retailer should hit stores soon (click to see the latest ads!).

Thankfully, a property listing for the apartment by Corcoran assures us that she’ll have ample closet space for her well-chronicled wardrobe.

Also a plus? The slew of thrift shops in the neighborhood (many of which we know and love). Chung is such a notorious vintage shopper that she's got her own show called "Thrift America" -- of which the East Village just may as well be the capital.
