Man Arrested In Publix Supermarket For Allegedly Urinating On Floor

Man Busted For Allegedly Peeing On Supermarket Floor, Said He Couldn't Hold It In

Here's a good reminder of why customers should always rinse fruits and veggies after they buy them -- no matter how clean the grocery store looks.

A Florida supermarket employee told police that a man exposed his genitals and urinated on the floor, TV station WWSB reported.

Manatee County Sheriff's detectives nabbed the suspect, Peter Pavljuk, 62, on Saturday and accused him of indecent exposure in public. They added a driving with a suspended license charge to his arrest, the station said.

Pavljuk allegedly told police that he was caught with his pants down, because he couldn't hold his bladder until he got to a bathroom. But the worker said Pavljuk tinkled near a children's water fountain that was a few feet from a public toilet, according to WWSB.

No food was reported contaminated.
