Will Jurnee Smollett Play Former 'Supreme' Florance Ballard?

Jurnee Smollett To Play A 'Supreme?'

Child actor turned full-blown star Jurnee Smollett's role on NBC's Friday Night Lights ended with the series' finale last season, but rumor has it she will be returning to her roots on the silver screen very soon.

Smollett is said to be playing the title role in the forthcoming film Blondie: The Florence Ballard Story, based on the Motown singer who was cut from the massively successful group The Supremes.

And who will play Diana Ross? The obvious choice would be Beyonce. She can sing, dance, act and we all know the ironically similar story Beyonce's former girl group, Destiny's Child, shares with The Supremes. However, whispers about the coveted part have all been focused on the superstar's sister Solange Knowles. We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.

Beauty Notes:

Get Smollett's tousled curls with the help of a clipless curling iron. For defined cheeks, try Cover Girl's Instant Cheekbones Conturing Blush. Last but not least, finish the look with a soft pink gloss for a hint of color and shine--Stila's Lip Glaze in Papaya will do the trick.
