Well, I suppose this is why they play preseason games.
During a Thursday night's contest between the Ravens and the Redskins, referee Jeff Triplette cited a routine infraction after a penalty flag was thrown. What was not so routine was the source of the penalty.
With the score tied 14-14 in the second quarter, Triplette took the to stadium intercom and announced, "False start, offense --the entire offensive line."
The Ravens went on to win the meaningless contest, but they might want to work on their timing a little bit more before the real season starts.
