Celebrity Baby Secrets Spilled: Celebrities Who Tried To Keep Their Babies A Secret (PHOTOS)

It's hard enough trying to keep a pregnancy under wraps, but when you're a celebrity it's nearly impossible. Some go the Beyonce route, and proudly flaunt their baby bump on national television, while some prefer to keep their bumps away from the paparazzi--that is, until someone accidentally (or purposefully) spills the beans.

For example, take what happened to Angelina Jolie when she was pregnant with twins Knox and Vivienne. On a promo tour for "Kung Fu Panda," her funnyman co-star Jack Black let Jolie's pregnancy news slip at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. How did that happen, you ask? Well, you see, it was an honest mistake.

And just last week, proud grandpa Rod Stewart innocently revealed the name of his first grandchild--Kimberly Stewart and Benicio Del Toro's newborn daughter Delilah.

While it's hard to imagine getting mad at an elated grandfather for sharing his joy with the world, sometimes even the media will stop at nothing to reveal a celebrity's most hidden secret.

In my opinion, Its not that their trying to hide it because of being ashamed. Maybe its the amount of publicity that get. Would you want your kid to come into a world where everyone already knew their name and was in their face constantly? I would want my kid to live as much as a normal life as possible, and the whole world knowing when your conceived is not normal!

Well the only thing I can say about this is that you start "showing" around 3months and you can either let people think you are getting fat or tell them your pregnant. (See I could have written this whole article in just 2 lines)

I understand why anyone, celebrity or not, wants to wait at least the first trimester or so before letting anyone know. Miscarriages still happen, and to deal with one in a very public way would be awful.
When celebrities wait, it is frequently for job security. They don't want to be replaced in a role because of their "inconvenient" pregnancy.
