Carson Kressley Joins 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 13 Cast

Well here's some news that should surprise no one.

Carson Kressley, former fashion guru from Bravo's "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy," will be among the latest household names to square off in "Dancing With The Stars."

Announced on Monday night, Kressley will join 11 other cable TV stars, athletes and even a war vet to dance all sorts of dances America has never heard of while wearing garishly sparkly costumes.

Needless to say, we imagine the famously flamboyant Kressley is thrilled about the opportunity to whip out his sequined best.

Also (sort of) representing the fashion pack will be Elisabetta Canalis, the Italian model and actress who is more famous for holding the title of George Clooney's most recent ex-girlfriend.

The rest of the cast, listed below, boasts surprises such as basketball player Ron Artest and Headline News host Nancy Grace.

But we're really most excited about Kressley. If his "DWTS" persona is as funny as his cheeky turns on "Queer Eye" and the hilarious "Straight Talk" sketch, we may be tuning in every week.

ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" premieres at 8/7c on September 19.

Better ask Pat Robertson and some of the other thumpers posing as politicos about how their sky god will make the studio lights crack, and the ceiling fail during a rainstorm because of certain members of that cast in Dancing with the Stars, tsk tsk tsk...

Having said that, I don't watch the show but love Carson! Hope he does well.
