George Clooney Single At The Venice Film Festival (PHOTOS)

'The Ides of March' will open the Venice Film Festival Wednesday night, and George Clooney, the political thriller's director and leading man, arrived all smiles and in a boat.

Clooney made a similar entrance to the festival in 2009 -- but on his arm was Elisabetta Canalis, then his new girlfriend and now his recent ex. Scroll down for those photos.
