We've looked back at the Royal Wedding on the anniversary of the day Diana married Prince Charles and we've reminisced about Princess Diana's style on the anniversary of her birthday.

Sadly, today we remember Diana and her stylish years on the anniversary of her death 14 years ago.

Below is a look back at some of the royal's most glamorous moments, from red carpets and royal affairs to beach vacations and heading to and from the gym. She managed to stay stylish and smiling during them all... even when things were far from easy.

Here is a look at Diana's incomparable style through the years.

She definately had "it" without having to try hard. The wrong one departed too soon.

I miss Diana. Such a great woman, abused by the Royals. Ashame they had her killed off.

She was killed by a drunk driver! Get your facts straight.

A shame she didn't fasten her seatbelt in a speeding car.

No doubt a woman of great courage and beauty.

I noticed how Diana had gradually changed her style from conservative to more liberal, while at the same time became more sociable and less shy over the years.

It's called maturation and life experience. She was practically a mere teen when she entered the Royal family, essentially put on the slaughter block once she quickly produced two heirs. She had more spunk in her then the Royals had imaged and wasn't content to be a woman to sit back while her husband carried on a secret life with another woman. May be women of by gone eras would have, but they misjudged her spirit and backbone no matter how they tried to crush it.

Gorgeous.  She just kept getting better with age.  What a smile.  She just lit up a room when she wanted to.  Her taste was impeccable.

I was a huge fan of hers regardless of her flaws.

'Flaws' which were after her death often concocted or exaggerated, in an attempt, to place the monarch's power back on track.

The flaws were very well-known -- and widely written about -- during her lifetime.

she was so much classier and glamorous than katie -

Give Kate time!! Diana didn't start off being all that and more. She evolved into it. I think Katie will, too!!

She was indeed a beautiful, stylish woman and loving mother...

Diana thought that she was playing a game with the royal family. I have always thought that if she had lived, she would of regretted some of the things that she said and did.

Diana was always classy. That was the key to her phenomenal popularity throughout the world--a popularity that transcended language and culture. She was pretty, but her grace and elegance even in difficult situations is what won our hearts. Rest in peace, Diana. We love you!

She was especially 'graceful and elegant" when she was throwing up, cutting herself, throwing herself down a flight if stairs, having multiple affairs -- some with married men -- and announcing publically that Charles wasn't suited to be King, and that he should be omitted from the succession.

The key to her phenomenal popularity was her physical beauty and brilliantly manipulative personality. Many people were - and still are - prepared to overlook or ignore countless transgressions and personal failings on her part in order to maintain their image of her as a "rose without a thorn". Henry Vlll was wrong about his rose without a thorn, and the Diana worshippers are equally wrong about theirs.
