Toddlers & Tiaras: 3-Year-Old Dressed in 'Pretty Woman' Prostitute Costume (VIDEO)

Last week, the internet was in an uproar over 4-year-old Maddy's fake breasts and padding for her Dolly Parton costume.

Maybe the chattering classes should have saved their breath, though, because this week an even more shockingly outfitted child surfaced online: a 3-year-old dressed up as Julia Roberts in the opening scene of the film Pretty Woman.

For those not familiar with the classic movie: the namesake character is a prostitute.

Perez Hilton was quick to criticize the little girl's mother on his website:

"How could someone let their little beauty queen actually dress up like Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman — you know, the prositute…"

That whole pageant thing is really sad. I mean...it's like one day a mother with Munchhausen bi-proxy woke and realized there was a legal way to get attention from abusing a child. Seriously. Ladies (and some men) you parade your child around with chemicals on their faces and have grown strangers judge them. its like a PG version of child sex slave ring in Thai. I hope you're truly proud of giving many pedophiles fuel for the fire. How would you feel if you found out that some creep has your daughter's picture plastered all over his bathroom. Kids love dressing up and "looking pretty" but that stuff should stay home where people won't objectify your child. Good job on failing as a parent.

I'm sorry but this outfit is so out of line...I am a parent and I would never dress my daughter like that for a pageant or Halloween...My husband hates that show and so do I...it seems as if those children are being exploited at a young age...there is nothing cute about that show or that outfit...

Let children be children. They have plenty of time to become disillusioned without over zealous parents pusihing them into a "CAREER", by playing PAPER DOLLS, or DRESS UP with them.

This is sad, very, very sad. It shows to what extreme parents will go to compete, earn money and put themselves into the limelight. What makes it even more sad, is that a handful of parents actually believe that the child involved enjoys doing this and that it is in their best interest. The child has no say too often being forced into these competitions by parents who are just using them as though they (the child) were a doll. Too many believe that it is CUTE!

As a parent, I strongly believe you should support your child in being the age they are. If a child thinks they are 10 when they are 6, they will think they are 16 when they are 12. If you encourage a child to celebrate the age they actually are and let them know how important it is to not miss a moment of their childhood, you have a much better chance of raising a happy well adjusted kid who will be ready to make better choices in their teenage years and young adulthood.

Oh her Mother was being supportive... she told Mommy she wanted to be a child prostitute so you see it just fine!
WHat I want to know is who are the 25% of polled people who say the Mother DIDN'T d anything wrong? I'm begining to think that (as a country) cats are better Mothers. We have become a truly sick society which has no idea of right or wrong so Sad!

So, the lesson we wish to teach the next generation of women is what, exactly? This was unconscionable, but then, does anyone in this nation have a conscience anymore? When a parent can only see their child as a cash cow, or think the only way they can make something of themselves is to "prostitute" themselves out for others, then we have lost our way. This disgusts me, and should disgust any decent person, turning a young girl into a sexualized object to feed to the hunger of the low-brow masses.

When I saw this article I was reminded of one of those old email joke lists, this one was "Inappropriate Book Titles," and the title that came to mind -- strangely enough the only title I still remember -- was "Dressing Sexy For Adults."

"Pageants" are a vile concept. This show is vomit-inducing, and any mother that parades her daughter around in adult-themed make up and costumes needs to have her children removed from her home. And don't bother saying "Judge much?" or some other asinine comment because, clearly, we don't judge enough to allow such a disgusting phenomena exist. This is child pornography under the thinnest of veils. Sick.
