Lanvin Dolls Raise Money For HIV Positive Women In Africa

If you weren't able to snag any of the lovely Lanvin For H&M pieces last Fall, never fear Lanvin dolls are here.

That's right, the oldest fashion house in France is launching a line of dolls this season that will help raise money for women in Africa living with HIV.

The dolls are handmade by a group of HIV-positive women in Swaziland, and proceeds from the sale of the dolls will benefit Dessine l'espoir--a charity which supports these women and others living with the disease. The aim of the project is to provide income and to improve the quality of life for the women and their families.

And these dolls are no Raggedy Annies. Each limited edition doll is dressed in a miniature Lanvin dress and retail for about $350. Oo la la!

The decked out dolls go on sale in November, just in time for the launch of Lanvin's over-the-top luxury chidlrenswear collection.
