Virginia Tech Freshman's Flip-Flop Rant Gets Indignant Quickly (VIDEO)

WATCH: The Angriest Rant About Flip-Flops You'll Ever See

The shoe companies Rainbow and Sperry have met their match in a Virginia Tech freshman who is outraged that their flip flops and boat shoes have caused him blisters on his feet, rendering him bedridden for the first week of school, and effectively squashing any chance of meeting friends and having fun in college and most likely changing the course of his life to one of poverty and failure.

The kid goes on a 7 minute YouTube rant demanding a refund for the shoes and a public apology from Rainbow and Sperry, and if that doesn't sink in, he drops the bombshell that his father is a lawyer for Exxon-Mobil. It's not a joke and you can look him up, according to the victim.

It's hard not to feel sorry for the freshman, whose stated desire to be a "frat star" has been forever thwarted by these dangerous, mislabeled shoes. We hope he has friends and family who are there for him during this difficult time.
