Outback Steakhouse Serves Alcohol To 4-Year-Old And 2 Teenagers (VIDEO)

It almost seems like Outback Steakhouse was feeling left out these past few months as chain after chain kept accidentally serving minors alcohol (see: Applebee's, Olive Garden, Chili's). The steak chain has now caught up with its cohorts; in Ohio a four-year-old girl and two teenagers were given a sample of a slushy-like drink that contained peach schnapps and vodka.

The server told the family that the drinks did not contain alcohol but after trying them, the family realized that the server was mistaken. The manager agreed to comp the family's meal and donate to their church, which he never did.

The server has been fired and the chain promises not to serve alcohol samples in the future.

All those slushy drinks at many chain restaurants come already pre-mixed and measured with the alcohol. Just like the food.

hmm..sounds a little fishy to me "The manager agreed to comp the family's meal and donate to their church, which he never did." so the free meal i understand..but the donating to the church?? i mean why does the manager need to donate to the church..? also if the sample did contain alcohol wouldn't it make sense to check with the other customers that tasted it to see their opinion if there were alcohol or not..?

I understand that it is wrong to do this, they can lose their liquor license and whatnot..blah blah blah...but....Under 4301.631H for Ohio state liqor laws- No underage person shall knowingly possess or consume any low-alcohol beverage in any public or private place, unless accompanied by a parent, spouse who is not an underage person, or legal guardian. The parents were there, and i understand they fired the guy, but 'technically' it wasn't against the law...just saying..haters lol..gotta love that booze :)

They should have done what I did on my last visit to Outback. I ordered a steak well done. They brought me a piece of meat floating in blood. I called the manager and made him aware of the problem. He said he'd send my steak back to be properly cooked. I told him "No thanks, I used to work in a resaurant as a teenager. I know what the cooks do to food when you send it back". He said, "Oh no, that'd never happen here." Right...I simply got up, paid my tab and left. That was 6 years ago. I've never gone back to an Outback. When you get in their pocketbook, they listen.
