At the press conference Friday in Toronto for the new political thriller, "The Ides of March," Evan Rachel Wood said that she felt more than comfortable filming a very male-dominated cast.

No wonder; from the looks of it, they all must have bonded during some group shopping trips.

The young actress made a splash at the film's red carpet premiere, donning a pinstripe suit that screamed gangster chic.

Also making sartorial statements: Kate Mara, girlfriend of Wood's co-star Max Minghella, who went the traditional nude and sequin route; Stacey Keibler, who must have forgotten the back and bottom of her dress in boyfriend George Clooney's suite at the Ritz Carlton; and Marisa Tomei made one of our favorite style choices, wearing Proenza Schouler's pixelated tribal print from the Fall 2011 collection.

Meanwhile, at the night's earlier premiere, for Clooney pal Brad Pitt's flick, "Moneyball," Angelina Jolie stepped out of her comfort zone by wearing a black dress. She took pictures with fans and then rushed down the carpet, so as not to take away from her partner's Oscar buzz-building glory. Anna Faris, wife of film co-star Chris Pratt, switched back to blond for the event; she'll be the center of attention soon with her romantic comedy, "What's Your Number?"
