Beyonce At J. Crew, Vera Wang & Rodarte -- All In One Morning! (PHOTOS)

Beyonce has arrived!

After hitting up the U.S. Open yesterday with hubby Jay-Z, Beyonce strapped on her heels and joined her sister Solange at New York Fashion Week today.

The pregnant superstar made quite the rounds, staging a surprise appearance at J. Crew (apparently leaving Jenna Lyons speechless) and Vera Wang, with a quick costume change in between -- she wore nude sequins for J. Crew, then chose a poofy bubble skirt for Vera Wang's runway show.

After Vera Wang, Beyonce then headed to Rodarte, joined in the front row by Taylor Swift, the Fanning sisters and Amy Poehler. Alas, there does not seem to have been a second costume change.

Clicked b/c I thought she was in the show. oh well. And some of the comments are downright mean. Beyonce may not be the best singer or the best looking person, but she is a good role model, getting married and then pregnant, always nice things to say about people and so on. And for those that say she is ugly, she is not. Neither is she a gorgeous, willowy, tall supermodel. She is a little above average. But that's why women love herl!!! Women need someone they can relate to, the avrge women is 5ft 4 and 140 lbs and does not have supermodel hair. They have trouble relating to women who are just incredibly beautiful and perfect and have mile long legs and fab wind blown hair, and it is good for them to see someone who looks like they do out in the public eye achieving things. She doesnt encourage kids to starve themselves also. And she is nice and conducts herself w/ class and never has mean things to say about anyone.

Last semester I attended a seminar on Afro-American Lit. The professor (a man from Africa) pointed out how in the 70's the Black Movement made the afro hair and other common African features fashionable instead of 'whitefication process' (black people trying to get common white features)...everyone there mentioned how deep Beyonce has gone in order to remove or 'soft' any of her black features...Since then I started paying attention...The students were expressing the truth, it seems...

I live during those times..... and yes ... suddenly our dark skin and the coarse texture of our hair became fashionable. But it was the best of times and it was the worst of times.... Maintaining and Afro was a Pain-In-The-Ass.... and it was expensive too... and if your 'Fro wasn't Tight and Shapely at all times ... you were looked down upon.... I Thanked GOD when hairCuts were Fashionable Again....... that being said..... Now..... People pretty much do what they wanna do...... and have you seen how urban African women look lately.... ? Beyonce would fit Right In. In the 70's were were making a point........and the Point was Made...... and then we moved on..... ps. Much Success in your Studies.....

God I love Solange she is so fly. Beyonce is so beautiful. I HATE two-tone hair but it looks classy on Beyonce. She was never able to dress so I won't comment on the outfit. It looks like something out of her 'House Of Deranged' clothing line.

I am so old I never heard of a Tosh... I knew a Peter Tosh, he said, "legalize it, yeah, yeah" and then they came in and k&lled him with machine guns.
