Tea Party Cheers Death Of Uninsured, Apollo Creed & Old Yeller (VIDEO)

First Posted: 09/13/11 12:51 PM ET Updated: 11/13/11 05:12 AM ET

Having political, ideological or philosophical differences aside, generally, we tend to think of Americans as the kind of folk who don't applaud death, even a generalized one. (Exceptions include Osama bin Laden and Emperor Palpatine.) But during Monday night's CNN Tea Party Republican Debate, that all changed.

After asking Ron Paul a hypothetical question about an uninsured patient who needed care, Wolf Blitzer pushed the point harder: "Congressman, are you saying that society should just let him die?" Before Paul could respond, however, a few members of the Tea Party audience began whooping and cheering, as if the Pennzoil car had just gotten the checkered flag.

Since callous inhumanity has always inspired us, we decided to put together this mashup of some other deaths the Tea Party might enjoy. You know, while we're all being so sensitive and engaging in a respectful exchange of ideas.

Sure, but he forgot. He offered to pay when the fire dept arrived, but they turned him down. This is a public service, not property insurance

I think we need to consider what we are posting in regards to these uninsured families. BS families of 6 living on 24,000 a year with an education, jobs laying people off and lets discuss our healthcare system; we overcharge for in case of, pay premium/deductibles, copays and prescriptions then are health insurance tells us it is a preexisting condition or we spend 5 MINUTES with the DR and receive a prescription with not as much as have a nice day or thank you. Yes I believe our insurance needs to improve "if you drive your car 300,000 miles and never maintain its operation it will die on you however an oil change is only as low as (9.95) how much does it cost again to walk in to a DR with an ear infection $150 if not more and then you go to pharmacy to pay 100 a script. That's 250 your health in 10 minutes I'd Say healthcare is ran by R &/ DR not the people-what happened to putting a price on health. Finally when will all these healthcare companies start opening debates for preventative (Therapeutic Massage by Certified Therapists and not techs they have trained to do our job) Think about those whom don't make enough with no cost of living increases EX.. 652.00 month insurance family of 6 which only makes 1253 a month can we say bankrupt from healthcare that leaves 601 to survival

People still do not get it, we are the ones who have for years been begging for a president to fix it so that people would be insured and take some reponsible for their medical care. I know I have when I was working and paying for medical insurance coverage for my family no matter how low my wages were I did it. There were people who were making the same or more than I was stil did not pay for medical insurance coverage for themselves and their families because they wanted the money to do other things in life yet when they needed medical treatment, they seek it and received it.

Yes I could have used that money to take a extra trip, buy something new for myself and children but i didn't because I was taught to have medical insurnce fromthe time i was growing up. It was hard but I did it and sometimes i had to work and extra job for those luxuries items that I wanted. By the way I am one of those miniorties who did not rely on the government for help but worked hard for what I wanted and needed. So it is not always the poor and the miniorties who are relying on the systems as some would love to say

Also, how does the liberal media know it's the Tea Party and not establishment Republicans? Hell, the clips they are running aren't even showing the faces of the people who cheered. If this turns out to be Democratic party PLANTS like the 2008 Youtube debate conducted by CNN, I wonder if Huffingtonpost and other liberal sites will issue an apology?

Lol...the baggies are the planters. In Wisconsin, they tried to plant some in the recalls, but were caught CHEATING. Not to mention splice and dice Brietbart.
12:14 AM on 09/15/2011
So Dems were caught planting folks during the last CNN debate in 2007. It's not hard to believe they did it again.

Hey, libs did it in 2007 and seem to have developed a taste for attending non-liberal events and attacking candidates.

Yes. Witnesses say they were wearing cowboy hats with teabaggies hanging down in their faces and holding signs nobody could read because of the horrid spelling while berating and beating a terminal cancer patient for his insurance running out. Hypothetically, of course.

If you can't assign a monetary value to a soul, it's not worth having one. Rugged individualists don't need no stinking soul. Let my fellow citizens suffer and die. It's their fault for not being sufficiently rugged and individualistic.

Please, just keep showing your true colors. Critical mass is coming. People will wake up, eventually.

All the whooping and hollering for letting a terminally ill person die because that person couldn't afford health care is really telling where this country is going. The teabag party turned already uneducated uninformed angry white people into barbarians. That was a shameful display, I am disgusted. CNN had the nerve to host a debate for these anarchist and hate mongers.
05:19 PM on 09/14/2011
Oh My God! Can you believe they are so insensitive to the deaths of hypothetical peoples? Stupid.

I think they were cheering for personal responsibility. If this hypothetical person had been too stupid to take care of his own medical needs it wouldn't be anyone letting him die. I would be his own idiotic fault. Therein lies the biggest difference between the TEA party and liberals. Liberals think they need the government to provide for them, insure them, and wipe their hineys. The TEA party believes they can handle those things just fine on their own.

The point is, these selfish fat piggies do not care about anyone but themselves. I know a baggie that is uninsured, and uses the E.R. as his welfare bank.
04:55 PM on 09/14/2011
Let's be clear. I heard 2 people respond and not the entire audience and not the entire TeaParty movement. One idiot appeared to let out a confirming shout which was appalling and the other can't be defined. At first I thought the second comment was at condemnation at Wolf Blitzer for asking the question but it did not sound like an applause shout. Every party has psychos...just not reserved for Republicans.

These are the same people who attack the uninsured, yet when they get really sick, they run to the E.R. and cost all the rest of us money. They are the biggest frauds I have ever seen. Too stupid to practice what they spew.

Wolf why not ask them to explain why private health care costs are rising 20% faster than Medicare costs, so why do away with Medicare and drive everyone into the private sector?

When I lost my job, I was given the "option" to continue my medical coverage for $1300 per month. I had cervical cancer in 1997. Sure, they have to give someone with a pre-existing condition the opportunity to buy insurance, but they're allowed to charge whatever they want for it. My husband is stuck at a dead-end job because it is the only way we can both remain insured. If his company discontinues coverages for spouses, which many companies have, I will join the ranks of the uninsured, mandate or not.
