Liya Kebede Covers Numero October Issue Sans Dress (PHOTO)

We adore Liya Kebede.

Not only is the Ethiopian model totally gorgeous, but she's also an accomplished actress and a passionate activist for worldwide maternal and child health (you can read her first-person perspectives on the issues on The Huffington Post).

The model took a break from her advocacy work to pose for the October issue of Numero China. Shot by Tiziano Magni, the image shows Kebede curiously holding a tiny dress (with a seriously small cinched-in waist) instead of wearing it.

We'd say maybe it didn't fit, but Kebede is a supermodel. Everything fits.

She looks lovely and healthy. When I worked at UPS I was much thinner (I can only count a few bones in the photo and she appears to have breasts - perhaps its the photoshopping, idk).

It's all about marketing and sensationalizing everything to get you to buy the mag. Plain and simple. It got me to click on an article I wouldn't have otherwise been drawn to. Silly me-I knew better.

Some one mentioned that she has 'European ' features and my assumption is that that is why this person feels she is seen as beautiful?.Well Somalians and Ethiopians have those features naturally, it is not perceived as white.So stop stereotyping black features as only having broad noses and big lips. That is a very euro centric perception,if not racist, to claim her features are 'white'.

And, yes foilks, some people are naturally thin, so stop all the mindless bitterness toward them.They are becoming a new victim category! .There are enough of those already.Could we just all get along and stop creating hierarchy's out of our perceived differences?..that will never happen...so ask?!

Liya Kebede is beautiful, one of my favorite models. That she is from Africa, a continent very close to my heart, where there are many extremely beautiful women, is a bonus.

Actually collar bones do and are meant to be seen, not covered in flesh.To what degree is a fair obersvation. I have seen this model in person and she is tall and not as small as you might think.Remember these girls look thinner on camera as they are often nearly six foot tall ..length creates the idea they MUST be thinner.In person she looks very healthy.I have seen those that starve to be thin and it shows in skin tone, hair quality and sheer lack of energy.
