Animal Photos Of The Week

New discoveries, gruesome deaths and major rescues made this week a busy one for animals around the world.

Good news first -- 12 new frog species were discovered in India, and three frogs thought to be extinct were also found. In Texas, a one month-old puppy was rescued from a crack created by the state's drought.

Unfortunately, in Montana, a tragic hunting story resulted in the deaths of both a hunter and a grizzly bear. In Asia, reports suggest that pangolins, or "scaly anteaters" are being smuggled toward extinction.

Meanwhile, newborn lions and baby red pandas were caught on camera this week, along with many other furry, cuddly, adorable animals. Which one's your favorite?
