Emmys 2011: 'Mad Men' Outstanding Drama Series Winner

'Mad Men' Rules Again!

Greater than the sum of its parts -- though they are quite considerable in their own right -- "Mad Men" won its fourth straight Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series.

While Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks and John Slattery came up short -- the first two were considered front runners in their categories -- Matthew Weiner and the team behind the 60s New York drama is undefeated in the most important category of the night.

Looks like AMC made a good choice in deciding to strike a deal creator Matthew Weiner, after all.

"You know what, we are always fighting to keep the show the way it is and to keep it good," Weiner said to the press after the show. "Everything worked out. The sweetest thing is that we got to go back to work. We get to go back to work tomorrow, and we get to keep making the show for another 39 episodes. And that is really the result of all of it."
