Paz De La Huerta Emmys 2011 PHOTO: Love It Or Leave It?

"Boardwalk Empire" actress Paz de la Huerta hit the red carpet in a soft pink gown with a thigh-high slit at tonight's Emmy Awards.

But rather than go for an all-out girlish look with a similarly feminine hairstyle, Paz opted for an edgier disheveled 'do.

It may have been because she was in a rush, having overslept during her last-minute session at Hollywood Tans.

Paz does 'the pout' perfectly, but a little eyeliner would have helped balance that strange shade of lipstick she's wearing - and the hair would've benefited greatly from a clip of some kind...love the shoes and the color of her dress, though.

Sorry, but I have waited on Ms. Paz De La Whatever a couple of times at the restaurant where I used to work, and she is NOT a very nice person. Actually, I would say she goes out of her way to be as unlikable as she possibly can.

I didn't even recognize who it was! Wow. Way too much tan, lipstick is horrendous, the hair doesn't go with the dress, and the face is obviously part of her 'pose' - look how she's holding up her dress. Beautiful woman, but she needs a stylist, stat.

It's not the dress. It's the bad fake tan, the disater of a hair do and the total look of misery on her face that does it for me. If you're going to hate yourself, don't cover it up with pink and sequins.

Paz's hair and makeup always look that way so what's the big deal? Nothing new about that. And why criticize the dress? It's lovely. People just don't like Paz so they nitpick. I'm sure if it was a different actress you'd be like "ooo she so sexy with that disheveled bedroom look" but no. Get a life you silly bored posters.
