Julianna Margulies Emmys 2011: The Worst Dress Of The Night? (PHOTOS)

Inevitably, the day after an awards shows, one or two actresses emerge as the fashion victims of the evening, the stars whose dresses land them on every "Worst Dressed" list and inspire a barrage of snarky comments.

One such fashion victim from last night's Emmys was Paz de la Huerta.

The other, surprisingly, was Julianna Margulies.

Margulies accepted the award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama for her show "The Good Wife" in a white Armani Prive gown that we though she looked quite beautiful in (scroll down to see photos).

The rest of the world, however, did not feel the same. Today the Daily News wrote that Margulies' dress, which featured clear plastic globules attached to the bodice, "draws jeers, gets compared to lamp shade, space robot," among other items.

She needs a short hair cut chin length or shorter, if it's at the chin, curly, then the dress would have complimented her. Like most women of a certain age (40 and up) you need the short hair look to get the illusion of facelift without the surgery.

I don't think it's the worst dress of the evening...that hideous non-fitting Calvin dress Katie Holmes wore was the worst...but Julianna's hair? Her complete lack of makeup & grooming that awful mop of hair destroyed the entire look. Armani doesn't get it wrong, but he couldn't do a thing about hair styling, jewelry or makeup. She needs Rachel Zoe.

It is hysterically funny that Margulies and her Emmy Dress are criticized but no one says Giorgio Armani sucks- it's always the way; criticize the actress and the frock but no one ever has the guts to blame the world-renowned, billionaire, much admired DESIGNERS who made the atrocious thing-

I'll give you that. I blame them both for bad taste! AND whoever at Huffington Post liked it. The only person who could wear this dress is Gaga. Not for a classic woman like this one.

I had a gorgeous vintage lamp shade that uncannily resembles the corset. The lamp was gorgeous.

It really is not that bad. Kind of interesting and elegant. It just makes her look like she has no shape. She is a stuinning woman, though.

Oh def. could have been at craft time. I blame the shotty work with the bedazzler because they blew right through nap time. Lack of sleep can do that to an Emmy dress..
