Sure, they missed out on the Best Original Song award last week, but that didn't stop the dudes from the Lonely Island from putting on the most memorable performance at the Primetime Emmys on Sunday night.
The "Saturday Night Live"-based trio -- Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer -- put together a fantastic montage of their three nominated songs, "Jack Sparrow," "I Just Had Sex," and "3-Way (The Golden Rule)." The show, with moving sets and pyrotechnics, included guest appearances from Michael Bolton, Maya Rudolph and a pulse for the otherwise quiet show.
And they sure beat that a capella group of TV stars who can't sing (though seeing Joel McHale in a chorus line was well worth it).
