Beyonce Is Having 'Fun' With Pregnancy

After her unexpected announcement at this year’s annual MTV Video Music Awards that she was pregnant, international pop star Beyonce Knowles has been relatively quiet about the details of her impending child with husband Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter -- until now.

In an exclusive interview with CNN UK, the 30-year-old mom-to-be dished on her excitement over her first child. "I am having so much fun, it has been the most fun time now that it has been announced," she revealed. Adding that "It was really difficult to conceal. But now ... I can be proud and excited about it, I'm having so much fun shopping -- it's great!"

Since the August 28 announcement, Knowles has been photographed in various parts of the world alongside her multiplatinum-selling soulmate, proudly showcasing her baby bump in leather shorts and bikinis, among other outfits. All of which has left many wondering whether or not her recent attire is part of a forthcoming maternity line for her House of Dereon clothing establishment. Knowles explained that "What I'm wearing today is part of the collection; it's not supposed to be [maternity wear], but it actually is really good for the maternity ... we do have some things that I am still trying to rock!"

As for being a trendsetter, don’t expect the pop diva to be any less a fashionista just because she's a future mom. She said, "My mother has always told me that beauty comes from within, and what's exciting about being a woman is you can say, 'Today ... I feel really conservative, today I'm feeling classy. Today, I am going on a date and I want to just be a showstopper.' And you know there is this variety of beautiful clothes that can bring out whatever you feel inside."

She added, "But it comes from here and you should wear your clothes, they shouldn't wear you."

Although the new family addition won't be the first grandchild for Knowles’ mother, Tina, whose youngest daughter Solange has a 5-year-old son, Julez. As expected, she is also "delighted" and "over the moon" for Beyonce's first child.

I bless this baby, and may it be born into happiness and love. Whitney and Bobby put their little girl through hell with their drug use. Look at the other Hollywood loser dads like Charlie Sheen. I for one think that giving birth is a celebration of life, and I am tired of hearing all those women (and daddies) who kill their babies. The last story was about a young woman who smothered her newborn babies. I pray that Beyonce and Jay-Z forget that they are rich and famous and be loving parents to their children.
